Alastair Waddington

Alastair started his long, successful career at the International Olympic Committee 40 years ago. Formerly Executive Vice President of IMG, he has extensive experience across broadcast, sponsorship, media rights and event operations at Olympic Games, Football and Rugby World Cups and major Championships in many sports all over the world. He has a breadth of relationships with senior stake holders in sport and entertainment and has led  Host Broadcast operations at three World Athletics Championships, Asian and Commonwealth Games.

Catherine Simpson

Catherine is a vastly experienced Event Director with an enviable reputation for making the “trains run on time”. Formerly Senior Vice President of IMG, she was Tournament Director of the IPL, the world’s richest sports franchise. Latterly, she has been Director of Operations for World Athletics Productions, overseeing the operational management of the host broadcast at the last two World Championships. Her skills in operations and event management and her experience with sponsors and broadcasters have led her to take on roles all over the world.

Formerly the Managing Editor of BBC Radio Sport, he has led teams in a wide variety of high pressure and fast-paced environments all over the world. He is well known for working sympathetically and collaboratively with key event stakeholders including broadcasters, national and international federations, commercial sponsors plus partners, athletes, coaches and agents.

Andy is a highly accomplished and experienced creator of award-winning sports presentation and event productions for major international clients including the Olympic Games, Rugby World Cup and World Athletics Championships. Formerly the Managing Editor of BBC Radio Sport, he has led teams in a wide variety of high pressure and fast-paced environments all over the world. He is well known for working sympathetically and collaboratively with key event stakeholders including broadcasters, national and international federations, commercial sponsors plus partners, athletes, coaches and agents.

Kenny Underwood

Kenny has enjoyed a distinguished career working across the music, sport and entertainment industries as a creative consultant involved in the design, delivery and activation of bespoke structures, events and installations. His clients have ranged from Pink Floyd, Queen, Simply Red, One Direction, Emma Bunton and Simon Cowell through to HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, Abu Dhabi’s National Day and World Athletics, for whom Kenny has acted as Technical Overlay Director on all major championships and Olympics since 2018.
